Adam Lipstadt writes, “The Astor place on is a bit funnier, because it borders on being a *triple* Starbucks – the double black banners on the red building in the attached detail jpg read Barnes and Noble Bookstore, which of course, has a café which resells Starbucks branded coffee.”

I have confirmation from Jennifer Gonzalez that in New York City there is another case of the Starbucks across the street form a Starbucks phenomenon. Apparently one instance of this is on Astor Place and the other One Near 38th street.
