Near UC Riverside (University of California at Riverside), there is a little shopping center (cinema, few restaurants, nothing very large).  Originally it had one Starbucks on one corner, but as new restaurants were put in, a new, larger Starbucks was put in in the same shopping center.  We all thought that the first would close, but to this day, they both remain open, in the same center, 200 feet away from each other.  To be fair though, at any given time, there are a fair amount of people in both. Proof?  From the Starbucks locater:&#8221;<br />
