Today, we went to [[Mumbuluma Falls]] which is right outside of Mansa.  We left at 10am and got their around 11am.  A guide showed us around the park.  There are two waterfalls here and a swimming area.  The waterfalls are arranged linearly with an upper and lower falls.  The place was completely beautiful and we had it to ourselves the entire day.

After the guide left, we put all of our stuff down and walked around.  We started walking around the upper falls area.  The water there was not too deep, maybe no more than two feet.  Eventually, we made our way to the lower falls where we went swimming.

After swimming, we ate lunch.  John made a mixture of soy, lentels, and rice.  He cooked it using his kerosene burner.  After lunch, we let our food settle and then went for a walk around the other areas near the falls.  John and Ruth took me to a place where there are rock formations from the natives sharpening knives and axes over the last few thousand years.  It was pretty cool Finally, we found some shade and just rested using the remaining time we had there.

Mumbuluma Falls was just gorgeos.  The swimming area was something out of a movie, absolutly beautiful.  The falls were amazing and the fact that you could right up to the edge of them or stand directly underneath them just added to nature’s crediability.

We finally left this area around 4:30pm after a final work at the edge of the second falls.  Once we got home, I booked my room at the hostel in Lusaka where I would round out the finals days of my trip.  I took a shower and Ruth made pancakes.  After eating, we played cards (hand — thanks Nelli!) and watched a movie, The Treasure of Sierre Madre.
